Adjudication Element for LAMA 2008 Released
The Davenport Group has successfully completed the integration of an Adjudication Element with its Code Enforcement module. The element allows for sophisticated handling of all adjudication needs, including creating and tracking summonses, complaints, inspections, and actions such as continuances, failures to appear, judgments, orders, and the levying and collection of fines and hearing costs. Municipalities also can create hearing dockets, judgments, and calendars. In this recession, many municipalities are turning to Adjudication as a revenue generator and a way to recover the costs of enforcement staff. According to one enforcement administrator, their city of 30,000 expects to process about 1,200 actions and generate as much as $120,000 to $180,000 per year with the help of the Code Enforcement module’s new element.
